The band was formed by Revant in 2007, as a one man band. A year later, Revant transformed Nipenthis into a full-member band. After a lot of live performances and line-up changes, in 2011 Nipenthis self-released their first EP “Sleeping in Eternal Shadow”, which was produced at Wudsound Studios. In 2013 Nipenthis released “…To the Misty Void”, a split-cd with the Greek black metal band Wolfhowl, through Azermedoth records.. In 2016, Nipenthis released their debut full-length album "One with the Void" by Razed Soul Productions, which was recorded at Devasoundz studios and mixed/mastered in Descent studios. At this time, Nipenthis has just completed production of their second full-length album.
